Fuse Upholstery Shop
This year has been a huge year for our upholstery shop! We’ve brought it in under one roof, giving us more control and making the whole process more responsive. We’ve expanded our team to include several valuable new kids on the block, amongst them head upholsterer, Fili Seufale, who has quickly become indispensable! Waiting on promised machinery, and out workers who failed to complete contracts, meant we started off behind the eight ball but teamwork, long hours, and all hands on deck are finally paying off. It’s exciting times here at Fuse!
We’ve also mastered Fabricks so we can now offer these impressive acoustic ‘bricks’ 100% Australian manufactured using local foam, fabric, and know-how! This dramatically reduces lead times, costs, and allows designers to select from approved local fabrics. Fabricks is a highly versatile acoustic brick screen/wall. We’ve already supplied this innovative product to Transport and Main Roads, Griffith University, James Cook University Townsville, and Townsville Court House amongst others. There’s more development in the pipeline to make this department even more comprehensive. Already we can offer custom table sizes and tops, from solid timber and melamine, right through to fingerprint-proof and writeable surfaces.
